1. Introduction
These Terms govern your use of DynIP (https://dynip.dev), a dynamic DNS service operated by 33k Networks AB ("we", "us", "our"), a Swedish limited company registered at backstugevägen 7, Sundbyberg, Sweden. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Service Description
DynIP provides:
- Dynamic DNS (DDNS) hostnames under public base domains we operate (such as
ddns.dynip.dev,phone-home.org, and others) - Bring-your-own-domain (BYOD) hosting where you delegate your own domain to our nameservers
- Let's Encrypt TLS certificate issuance for hostnames managed through the Service
- DNSSEC where supported by the chosen base domain
- AXFR-based replication across multiple geographic regions for high availability
The Service is provided on a best-effort basis. We do not offer a formal Service Level Agreement (SLA) at this time.
3. Account Registration
You must register an account to use authenticated features. You agree to:
- Provide accurate registration information
- Keep your account credentials confidential
- Be responsible for all activity under your account
- Notify us promptly of any unauthorized access
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, abuse the Service, or engage in unlawful activity.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree NOT to use the Service to:
- Conduct or facilitate illegal activity in any jurisdiction
- Send spam, phishing, or malware
- Operate command-and-control infrastructure for malware
- Resell or sublicense the Service without our written permission
- Bypass any rate limits, security measures, or quotas
- Reverse-engineer, scrape, or interfere with the Service infrastructure
- Register hostnames intended to impersonate third parties or trademarks
We reserve the right to remove hostnames or terminate accounts that violate this policy without prior notice.
5. Subscription Tiers and Payment
The Service offers a free tier with limited zones plus paid tiers (Pro, Business, Scale) with higher zone limits and tiered support. Pricing is published at https://dynip.dev/pricing.
Payments are processed by Paddle.com Market Limited, our merchant of record. Paddle is responsible for billing, tax collection, and payment compliance. By subscribing, you agree to Paddle's terms in addition to ours.
Subscription billing is monthly or annual, billed in advance. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the next billing cycle. Refund terms are described in our Refund Policy.
6. Service Availability and Modifications
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Maintenance, infrastructure changes, or third-party outages (e.g., upstream DNS, Let's Encrypt) may cause downtime.
We may modify the Service, including features, limits, or pricing. We will notify users of material changes by email and on the website at least 30 days in advance for paid tiers.
7. Termination
You may terminate your account at any time via the dashboard. When you delete your account:
- Your DNS hostnames and zones are removed immediately
- Active TLS certificates are revoked and removed
- Your account data is deleted immediately, except for billing records (retained 7 years per Swedish accounting law) and server access logs (retained 30 days for security)
- Active paid subscriptions: cancel via Paddle's billing portal first to avoid further charges; refunds per our Refund Policy
We may terminate your account for cause (Terms violation, non-payment, abuse) at any time, with reasonable notice where possible.
8. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its software, branding, and documentation, is owned by 33k Networks AB. You retain ownership of any data you upload (zone configurations, etc.). You grant us a license to process your data solely for the purpose of operating the Service.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
- We are not liable for indirect, consequential, incidental, or punitive damages
- Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim
This does not limit liability for damages caused by gross negligence or willful misconduct.
10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by Swedish law. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Stockholm District Court, except where mandatory consumer protection law gives you the right to your local jurisdiction.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms. Changes take effect 30 days after posting on the website. Continued use after that period constitutes acceptance.
